Cuisinart Coffee Maker Clean Light Will Not Go Off

Whether your cuisinart has a self cleaning option or not you should clean your coffee maker regularly by decalcifying the water reservoir with vinegar and washing the other pieces of the machine with warm soapy water.

Fill the water reservoir to capacity with 1 3 cup of white vinegar and 2 3 cup of water. It could have gotten tripped. Please make sure it is plugged in. Otherwise fill the reservoir with only water and brew a pot of hot water without coffee to rinse.

Also check the household circuit breaker box. Be sure that there is enough water in the rreservoir for the amount of grounds loaded into the coffee maker. Once the coffee maker cycles the liquid through the unit will beep five times and turn off. When light comes on turn coffeemaker on.

Unit will shut off. A flashing clean light indicates unit needs to be decalcified. If the clean light flashes run a fresh batch of vinegar and water through. Press the clean button.

Turn it on again. Press the clean button then turn on the coffee maker. Five beeps sound when clean cycle is complete. If your cuisinart coffee maker is not brewing coffee it may be disconnected from the mains.
